The International Summer Course on Forestry and Environment, themed “Youth Driving Innovation in Sustainability Forestry,” was held for approximately two weeks from July 10 to 25, 2023. The Faculty of Forestry at Lambung Mangkurat University sent two student representatives as delegates, namely Ariba Irbatun Husna and Syarifah Nurhaliza Amalia. Students from various environmental fields participated in the International Summer Course on Forestry and Environment, with the theme “Youth Actions in Generating Innovative and Creative Improvements in Sustainable Forestry Utilization.”
The program lasted for two weeks and featured lectures from prominent professors from Germany, Taiwan, and Malaysia. Participants explored important topics, including sustainable forest management and the critical role of youth in ensuring the future of forestry. Through interactive discussions and practical activities, the summer course encouraged the global exchange of ideas and empowered young leaders
